What is the basic philosophy of PAID?

Very simply we believe that any American and who works hard and plays by the rules is entitled to gain financial wealth. In other words our members have no problem with being paid well for a job well done. We believe that wealth is a positive thing for our families and American society as a whole. We know that there are some people and organizations that hate the wealthy and wish to do us harm by taking away our hard-earned dollars in unethical ways that are usually portrayed as beneficial to all. They do this in courtrooms by unfairly re-distributing our wealth. They do this in the media by spreading lies and questioning our integrity and honesty. They do this in the educational system by spewing their hate and lies towards innocent minds and they do their damage legislatively by creating laws that financially hurt us and deny us our rights. We believe that living the American Dream is an opportunity that has been given to us as a birth rite. We understand and cherish that America was built as a free nation because our ancestors chose to take the necessary risks in order to build financial wealth and happiness. We perceive those enemies who hate and despise us as being misinformed and we wish to correct those views.

Sounds very Conservative. Does PAID espouse other conservative views?

No, PAID is not an organization interested in examining causes such as gay rights, environmental concerns, the abortion issue or any other "Liberal verses Conservative" causes. Although we recognize that all these issues are important we defer to other organizations that are better suited. We concentrate our efforts on the things about which all Americans have an interest every day of their lives. We are about money and having enough of it to live well. And we are about personal happiness, a human quality frequently assured by having enough money to do with, as we like. In essence, we are about pursuing and living the American Dream.

What is the PAID Preamble and why should I read it?

The PAID Preamble was written to explain in a cohesive and understandable manner the general feelings about wealthy people in America today. It was decided that the Preamble would speak in the voice of the consciousness of a collective American citizen. Our enemies know that when the masses are uninformed of the truth, it’s easy, even attractive to attack anyone who is perceived to have gotten something too easily or something they don’t deserve. The destroyers of the American Dream (DEAD), who will be explained in detail below, have worked overtime to create a lop-sided negative view and instill that image in most Americans through the combination of their control of the media, the courtrooms and the educational system. If wealthy people are suspect or even hated, it becomes easier for the destroyers of the dream to accomplish their questionable goals.

Every member of PAID should read the Preamble regularly. It is the beginning point. It is the reason that PAID was established. It will remind you of the job that has to be done and it will heighten your curiosity and sharpen your sense of fairness. The Preamble is a powerful document that accurately portrays the one-sided, unfair and outrageous battle that is going on in America every day. It portrays the devastation that is slowly but surely taking place in eradicating the American Dream. Finally it will motivate you to react to preserve the American Dream!

What is PAID?

In its purest form PAID is made up of concerned individuals who hold the core belief that a great and chief foundation of our Country is the concept of pursuing and living the American Dream. We believe that our ability to reach for the dream and to incorporate it into our lives is very much at risk because of relentless attacks, demands and unfairness being organized against the wealthy on a continuous basis. We are dedicated to keeping secure and maintaining intact from injury, decay or loss, the American Dream. We are law-abiding, tax paying citizens who refuse to have the opportunity of achieving the American Dream taken from us by selfish individuals and organizations who are hell bent on destroying the great dream.

How does PAID define the American Dream?

That’s simple. We believe that all Americans are created equal but that some are both capable and willing of being more than average. We believe that if we work hard, study well and treat other with respect that we can reach for the sky to achieve personal and financial success. We believe that the more we study and the harder we work the more we are capable of accomplishing. We expect to be paid well for our accomplishments. We will protect these things we hold true to the greatest extent we can. We believe this is how America has come to be and we wish to maintain that standard to assure our Country’s continued existence and growth. We believe that when we accomplish goals by playing by the rules and following the laws, that the financial rewards can be outstanding and that wealth is a good thing, not only for ourselves, but for societal evolution as well.

So the American Dream is about money, only?

No, the American Dream is about anything we want it to be, as a free people. Experiencing the American Dream is about living well. It’s about accomplishing personal and professional goals. It’s about living with a smile on our faces because our lives are full. Our money however is the device that the Destroyers of the American Dream (DEAD) have fixed their sites upon and are attacking in order to fulfill their confused and selfish goals. The DEAD make the mistake of erroneously supposing that those of us who have attracted an abundance of wealth must have gotten it illegally or unethically, and they ignore the contributions that the wealthy have made in growing the economy for the good of American society. The dirty little secret about the American Dream is that compensation in the form of money is a by-product of the achievement of your goals, but amassing money is not the dream itself. This secret is often denied or ignored by those who don’t trust their own talents or work ethics to achieve personal and professional success.

Explain the DEAD and the DEAD END LIST

Very simply, if someone is inclined to oppose those of us who choose to succeed in America, that person is seeking to destroy the achievement of the American Dream. Therefore that person or organization is a Destroyer of the American Dream. (DEAD). There are numerous ways in which a person or organization may choose to seek to destroy the American Dream. They accomplish this negative desire by attacking individuals who have succeeded or who are on their way to personal and professional success. The attacker may be in a position to overtax or levy prosperity or contrive luxury taxes or it may be a judge who unfairly makes a biased legal judgment against an innocent person who is guilty of nothing else but attaining wealth. The attacker might be a litigant or a lawyer who files aggressive nonsensical and nuisance lawsuits against another because he wishes to enrich himself and/or his client through the re-distribution of wealth without merit. The enemy could be a high-school teacher or college professor who spews anti-wealth rhetoric to students who dare not question the teacher for fear of grade retaliation. A DEAD enemy may be a politician who in the face of overwhelming evidence that the wealthy pay an outrageous and unfair amount of taxes, seek to get them to pay even more. Either way, these attackers are considered to be dead to PAID members.

Why do you say the most hated and despised minority in America today are wealthy people

Because it’s true. And what makes it worse is that wealthy people fear reprisals in fighting back so oftentimes they don’t even try. Wealthy people have for the most part worked hard for life’s rewards. They take more risk than the average American. They build the factories and the companies that employ the masses and they provide the salaries that feed their families and put their children through colleges, which give them their own opportunities to go for the American Dream. The wealthy are always expected, in fact, demanded to pay much more than their fair share. They are taxed at ridiculously high rates compared to the masses and their money is used to create the very infrastructure we all utilize freely. They build the roads, build the hospitals, build the government facilities and they are hated and despised because of their successes. The top 1% of American earners fork over 35.6% of all income taxes! The top 10 % pays 67.6 % of all income taxes! These numbers are an outrage! The most amazing fact and not surprisingly never communicated to the general public is that the bottom 50% of earners pays only 3.4% of all income taxes. About half the population is getting a free ride and the middle class and the wealthy are paying through the nose! If this fact were known by the 50% who pay, there would be mass criticism. However the media guards this fact because it plays into the DEAD’s master plan. And to boot, the numbers are all trending in the wrong direction. In spite of this Herculean effort on behalf of the wealthy and the middle class they are still battered on a daily basis in the DEAD controlled media for not paying their “fair share”. The argument is ridiculous and the destroyers of the American Dream (DEAD) have gotten away with this vile conjecture without a fight. Now, with the creation of PAID, all this can change!

How do the DEAD destroy the American Dream?

They make crafty use of their beloved DUDD or Devices Used to Destroy the Dream. The DEAD do their damage to the middle class and wealthy in unique and innocuous ways. Most noticeably are their mostly total editorial control of the print and electronic Media in America, including all three major television networks, all of the major movie studios, large city newspapers like the NY Times, L.A. Times, Chicago Times and the Washington Post, major national news magazines like Time, U.S. News and World Report and Newsweek, plus a litany of cable television networks associated with the above-mentioned media like CNN, CNBC and MSNBC. The constant drubbing from these media outlets effectively reaches the vast majority of Americans daily with results that carry the one-sided and devious messages into the minds of millions of Americans. Most recipients of these subtle and contrived messages go about their lives and don’t even know that they are being brainwashed and influenced with hurtful information damaging to the wealthy. Class warfare is born and seeded through these efforts. Other DUDD devices are the American educational system through various teachers unions and the legal system encompassing judges, tort lawyers, Attorney’s General and their political allies.

Why do the DEAD attack the American Dream?

This is the deadliest, most confusing and hard-to-understand frequently asked question here. The DEAD are attempting to accomplish their own ill-fated goals of establishing a form of socialism. It’s the same socialistic thinking they have tried and failed to instill in American consciousness over the past 50 years and they don’t really care about the damage they cause in the process but they are making progress. Most will say they don’t rationalize the damage or even acknowledge it.

The DEAD are an elitist group of highly educated people who have a very socialized government bent. They really believe that they have a better way for America and that a stronger nation will be built if we just share all the assets among all the people. They are present day Robin Hood strategists willing to take from the rich and re-distribute to the poor and they believe somehow that they are doing us all a favor in the process of achieving these ideas. They see this as somehow being fair with no thought to how humiliating it is to those of us who work harder than average and expect to be rewarded greater than average for our boldness and hard work. The DEAD pay little attention to History lessons about how America was created and why it has grown to become a world power. Their politics weaken America and then site the weakness as the will of the people. They attempt to deny us the premium we expect for excellence and hard work. They have no respect for the hard indisputable facts that socialism, like its extreme brethren Communism has never practically worked or evolved anywhere on earth wherever or whenever it has been attempted. Contrary comments are always found to be wishful thinking as the facts are unearthed.

The DEAD collectively choose not to believe in the trickle down economy hypothesis even though it has been proven over and over again as a workable system. They believe in a big growing government and in the decisively fictional view that government is more powerful than the people it governs. The DEAD love taxes and spending money wildly and willfully on social entitlement programs mostly for the 50% of Americans who don’t pay taxes, even though most of those programs haven’t worked in over 50 years. They are lost in their battle to prove themselves un-lost. Rather than to admit defeat, they will invent new excuses and new social programs to replace the one’s that have failed or are destined for even further expensive failure. And the DEAD do all this damage without acknowledging the pain and humiliation they are imposing on the rest of us.

The DEAD control the print and electronic media which members are willing accomplices who pave the road to their dubious successes. Additionally, they control the legal profession especially their highly effective and proud element that fight a fixed fight daily: tort lawyers who enrich themselves in the process of removing wealth from others. The DEAD dominate the educational system that is failing our children but enriching its teachers and administrative membership. And they accomplish this destructive damage under the P.R. guise that none of this has anything to do with money. Ironically, the only thing it has to do with is money. They are incensed by money. Money is their GOD. Money is the answer to any problem that is imagined by card-carrying members of the DEAD. That’s why they have a hatred for those of us who have earned more than is average and that’s why they spend most of their time figuring ways to remove it from our wallets.

Sounds like the DEAD are actually just a bunch of tax & spend Democrat Liberals?

Although, as you would expect, many if not most of the DEAD are known to be extremist and liberal Democrats given the philosophy and track record of the Democratic party in raising taxes, spending for unworkable social programs and their frustrating solidarity cause of wealth re-distribution. However, sadly from time to time, a wide-assortment of identifiable offenders to the preservation of the American Dream in every political party makes themselves known. PAID is in no way obligated or sensitive to any one political party. We simply wish to satisfy our charter to identify those who are attacking the American Dream and to bring them to task. That is our objective and we can only do it with your assistance.

Is there any good news?

Yes, we are making some progress. There are slight signs of evidence, as you will read in our articles that some DEAD are getting the point. We would have expected much more progress but we will accept as much as we can identify. That’s why we created ALIVE (Americans who Love the Idea of Valuable Enterprise). When we find a candidate who truly understands the concepts we stand for here, that making money is not a crime and wealth to some actually helps all Americans, we bestow our honorary ALIVE award on them. As you might imagine the list is a small one but we are willing to grow it proudly as ALIVE candidates make themselves known by earning the distinction. This is another area in which we need assistance from our members and readers of preservetheamericandream.com.

What practical ideas can PAID members actually contribute?

As a member you can listen to your kids and read their homework. You can investigate by asking questions to see if their teachers are filling their minds with anti-American Dream notions and if they do, you can begin to fix the problem by informing PAID so that we can name names and add them to the honorary DEAD list. You can watch the local and regional goings-on in your city and town. Are there over-zealous tax increasers who are out to punish the achievers and reward the takers? Report them here so that we can take them to task. You can report local court cases where eager beaver legal types are plying their dirty-deeds against the proliferation of the American Dream. Let’s name the names of the lawyers who are filing frivolous lawsuits only to get outrageous wealth re-distribution settlements for their clients at the expense of law-abiding citizens. Another area of concern is the latest DEAD cause and trend to control executive salaries. This is an area where the DEAD have suddenly taking a hard stance. Are there any enemies going after executive salaries or retirement packages of which you are aware? Remember, the DEAD have a hatred for anyone who appears to have garnered more than average. They really don’t want an explanation. That may diffuse their argument and their hatred. So we must inform our membership by bringing offenders to task.

In their perfect socialistic world the DEAD believe that everyone must be absolutely equal, even those of us who are exceptional. The DEAD believe that dumbing down the masses is the perfect way to guarantee achieving their perverted sense of equality. If you know of a person or an entity that is making trouble, let’s tell the world about their negative thinking here. Lets protect each other from the slaughtering of the American Dream that has gone un-interrupted for years. Remember any individual or organization, who unfairly takes money out of our pockets by deceiving the masses, is our enemy and we must fight back. Publishing their names and listing their nasty deeds here and sharing that information between us, is the only way we can begin to fix the problem.

I’m not exactly rich. Do I actually have to achieve the American Dream to be part of PAID?

No, PAID welcomes all members equally. Our membership is made up mostly of those who believe in the general concept of the American Dream as defined earlier. A large number have achieved great happiness and great wealth. A large segment of us are working hard to achieve great happiness and wealth. To the best of our knowledge, we have no idea of how many of our members may be categorized as DEAD. However, if the DEAD wish to find out how they have unfairly offended the rest of us and what we think of their devious and destructive ways, we welcome them here to learn and to change their ways. Unfortunately they will have to read through the truthful stories of a sordid past in order to begin to grow. The lessons will most likely be very painful but worthwhile for them.

Are there any fees to be a member of PAID?

No. Membership is absolutely free. We do however suggest a spirited communication between readers. We really have to get involved here to make a difference in the world in which we live. We ask input in the form of articles and feedback contributions. Ultimately we want fairness. We must fix what is wrong in fact and perception. PAID has been envisioned and successfully implemented because there is no other platform for us to communicate these important and life changing principles. The unfortunate truth is that the reason the DEAD have gotten away with their deviousness is because they win the numbers game hands-down. As logic would dictate there are simply lots more of them than there are of us, even if we include those who are still chasing the dream. Shallow as that may sound, the truth is that many Americans just don’t give a darn. They’d rather take the easy way out and let the government run their lives and they will wither in the process. That’s a shame but their loss of belief in themselves strengthens our opportunities. As the DEAD atrophy and rot, their residue will act as the fertilizer that nurtures our cause. That’s the way it’s always been and that’s the way it will most likely always be.

Times have changed in America. Most people don’t want to work hard any longer. The DEAD irresponsibly inform these malcontents that they don’t have to work hard and in some cases they don’t have to work at all. Most people want handouts from the government. The DEAD want to make sure that the funds for wasteful social programs continues to be extracted from the middle-class and the wealthy. The DEAD get to re-gift the money and benefits and take the appropriate bows in exchange for votes while the wealthy get to pay the bills for all these unworkable programs. The DEAD don’t want us to get in the way of their gravy train.

They want us to continue to overpay taxes. Their believers and beneficiaries want to cry on the shoulders of politicians who need them to stay in office. Politicians know there are more of them than us. Keep in mind that every one of the DEAD represents a valuable vote. So, we have to find ways to use our collective clout to fight back! That’s why we accurately state that the most hated and despised minority in America are wealthy people. This is an undeniable fact.

We are a small minority of Americans and we are hated and despised more today because we haven’t had a forum to fight back and to get the truth out about the important role we play in the growth of America. We simply have taken what the DEAD have handed us over time. There are no government agencies to protect and guide our plight. There are no lawyers working pro-bono to assist our cause. There are no government programs to lend a hand. The major media players are against us, the population continues to be turned against us, many politicians are against our cause and the government just depends on us to keep paying more and more of our hard earned money to solve their overspending problems. PAID is the only forum for the wealthy and those who want to be wealthy to fight back and to get what is rightfully ours: fairness.

There is unprecedented strength in our demographic numbers and our numbers are off the charts. Our buying power is unequaled in America. Collectively our wealth is a powerful weapon to be reckoned with, our annual charitable donations are the difference between institutional mediocrity and greatness!
